Melbourne coach Paul Roos has demanded a more balanced approach from the Demons after losing a shootout to St Kilda last week.

Melbourne will make a rare trip to Metricon Stadium to take on Gold Coast on Saturday night where they will take on the Suns for just the second time at the venue.

The Demons and Gold Coast sit just outside the top eight with 3-3 win-loss records this season, but the Suns are coming off a 120-point mauling at the hands of Geelong.
