SA govt holds on to AFL naming rights

The Port Adelaide and St Kilda AFL clubs will again play at Adelaide Arena in Shanghai next year, after the South Australian government announced it would continue its naming rights for the stadium.

Premier Steven Marshall’s announcement comes after it was last week confirmed the clubs will continue to play in China for at least the next three years.

“It’s crucial that we foster these trade opportunities with our key trading partner, and we’ve already seen the success that comes with building our cultural ties with China through sport” Mr Marshall said on Monday.
