Small forward Ahmed Saad is the latest St Kilda player to sign an AFL contract extension.
The 23-year old’s two-year deal follows new contracts for Jack Steven and David Armitage.
Saad had an outstanding debut season last year, playing 16 games and kicking 28 goals to be their third-highest scorer.
“David’s signing last week and Ahmed’s signing today is great news for the club and our supporters,” coach Scott Watters said in a statement on Thursday.
“Both are emerging leaders and are professional in their preparation.”
The Saints hope to eventually try Saad in the midfield and add to their onball depth.
