Geelong coach Chris Scott has called out Rodney Eade for comments about the AFL umpires, strongly suggesting it’s a tactic by his Gold Coast counterpart.
The Suns host the Cats on Saturday night and during the week Eade said the umpiring department had apologised to him about two decisions during their loss to North Melbourne.
“I’m not too sure what to read into it, necessarily – I just draw on past experience, where there have been comments made and it’s only human nature for the umpires to react in some way,” Scott said.
