Sydney Swans vs Fremantle Dockers Preview

Sydney have now slipped out of the top eight with a record of 3-5 after dropping four of their last five matches.

They were were thumped by the reigning premiers Geelong, lost a game they should never have lost against GWS and then were overrun by Collingwood at the MCG.

I am finding them an incredibly tough team to get a firm opinion on but it is obvious that they have problems in defence and leak points far too easily at times.

They get a Fremantle team that has certainly struggled in the first third of the season but have just found some form in recent weeks.

The Dockers recorded just their third win of the season when they beat Hawthorn at home by 69 points and the most pleasing thing was the way they moved the football.

Sydney have come up way too short in this contest but this is not a game I am keen to bet in from a result point of view because I can’t trust either team.

The price for Lance Franklin to snare two or more goals seems overs to me considering his overall record and the fact he’s done it in three of his five games this season.
