Swans Daniel Hannebery and Josh Kennedy couldn’t be split by the team at Sportingbet.com.au, with each player receiving 2.5 votes for their part in Sydney’s hard-fought win over Hawthorn.
Sportingbet’s analysts award half votes when they can’t split certain performances, a system that has proven to balance out over the course of the season and provide a more accurate prediction of a player’s final vote numbers.
Sydney’s Kennedy, a $14 chance at Sportingbet for the Brownlow, is now estimated to have amassed 10 Brownlow votes, which puts him in outright third spot behind Gary Ablett on 14.5 votes and Steve Johnson on 12.5 votes.
