Tiger Army turns out to celebrate AFL cup

An estimated 15,000 Richmond fans have flocked to Punt Road Oval to celebrate the Tigers’ 12th AFL premiership that came after a stunning 89-point grand final smashing of GWS.

Coach Damien Hardwick, skipper Trent Cotchin and Norm Smith Medal winner Dustin Martin were presented to the crowd along with the rest of the premiership-winning team on Sunday afternoon.

“It was incredible … when you sit back and think about all of the people who have been part of the journey – the Tiger Army, our wonderful staff and our players – you start to get a bit emotional,” Hardwick told the crowd.
