Brisbane continued their hunt for a finals spot in their midseason resurgence with a win against the Crows last week.
They now make the long trip over to WA, facing the Eagles at Optus for the first time since its opening, and the first time in Perth since 2017 after six consecutive trips to the Gabba for the Eagles.
West Coast havent looked too flash hot in the recent month of footy, struggling to rekindle the energy they had around the midway point of the year.
Brisbane has been dominant around the stoppages and their ability to get first hands on the footy through the likes of Lachie Neale and Hugh McCluggage certainly makes the task easier to move the footy with control.
The Eagles have struggled to move the ball inside 50, sitting second last in the competition for inside 50s, and need to find a way to be more creative in transition.
Holding the Lions accountable defensively will allow them to play with some flair and freedom, and back at home, theyre able to elevate their game to the next level.
Shutting down Brisbanes forward line will be a hard task for the Eagles, and its hard to see them reducing the Lions to a defendable score.
It will be a challenge for the Lions with the travel, but class should rise to the top and get them a valuable four points.
