How the Dogs’ complete no-show against the Crows last week will affect them down the stretch remains to be seen, but for now, Luke Beveridge needs to keep his side locked in on a North Melbourne outfit that could potentially catch them off guard.

Wayward kicking was again the theme of the day for the Doggies down south, while the only two positives were a couple of players likely in line for All-Australian honours – Marcus Bontempelli and Adam Treloar.

North fans have little to celebrate themselves after letting a win slip through their fingers against West Coast.

The Roos won just about all the key statistical battles, but allowing three goals in the final three minutes, plus a quiet game from Nick Larkey, helped cement a devastating five-point loss.
