The Western Bulldogs may fancy themselves to get their first win of season 2022 against the Tigers at Whitten Oval this Sunday.
The Dogs took it up to top-of-the-ladder Freo on Tuesday night, only to go down by one kick, which will give them plenty of confidence after what has been a disrupted start to the year.
Richmond have been one of the more improved sides this season, but are missing vital backs and forwards such as Harriet Cordner and Courtney Wakefield with the likes of Mon Conti and Katie Brennan having to do the hard work.
Despite the improvement, the Tigers went down to the Gold Coast Suns by five points last weekend in a game for which they had plenty of chances to take the four points.
