Fremantle’s reigning best and fairest Lachie Neale has joined Brisbane, while Hawthorn have secured their No.1 target in AFL trade period by signing Chad Wingard from Port Adelaide.

The Dockers parted with gun midfielder Neale and draft pick No.30 in exchange for picks No.6, No.19 and No.55.

The Hawks swapped young defender Ryan Burton, picks No.15 and No.35 plus a future fourth-round selection to acquire Wingard and Port’s future third-round selection.
