England all-rounder Stuart Broad has suffered a foot injury, with the 27-year-old failing to take the field for the start of Australia’s second innings in the third Ashes Test at the WACA Ground.
Broad scored five before being trapped lbw by Mitchell Johnson – struck on his right foot – in England’s first innings score of 251.
The right-arm paceman was seen hobbling around the ground with the team’s physio after his innings.
He was taken to the WACA Ground nets to test his ability to bowl.
Broad has been England’s best bowler this series with 14 wickets at 25.21.
