The G2 Hill Stakes (1900m) has a lot of excellent middle distance horses entered. Hoo Ya Mal ($6) has gone here instead of the Epsom and there are others who may head back north such as Lindermann ($15), Duais ($6) and Duke De Sessa ($51).
There is the new Alan Brown Stakes (1400m) and a full field of sprinters is very likely given the huge nominations. Waterford ($4.50) and Olentia ($6) came out of the Epsom so this might be the new option.
Some young horses with promising futures are entered for The Tapp-Craig commemorating two of the great race callers. Ducasse ($6) and Chrysaor ($11) had Brisbane Winter trips and this looks a good option.
Potential Coolmore Stud Stakes runners will line up in the G2 Roman Consul Stakes (1200m). Libertad ($8), King’s Gambit ($3.50) and Ozzmosis ($2.30) are massive watches.
In the G3 The Nivison (1200m) the mares chase important black type. I Am Me ($3), Royal Merchant ($8) and Magic Time ($4.50) already have that on the portfolio.
