Queensland Oaks favourite Arabian Gold remains solid $2.50 favourite after drawing barrier one. There is some doubt the filly will handle the 2400m journey, but money continues to roll in with online bookmaker Sportsbet.
“She was impressive winning last start, but connections have said the 2400m is the only query for Arabian Gold. With the rails draw she should be able to get a cushy run and be too good at the end,’’Sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson said.
Money has also come for Tinto, who is clear second favourite. Away from the top two Raunchy Rocker ($15) and Khutulun ($11) have admirers.
