Arabian Gold shortens for Crown Oaks 2013 after Ethereal Stakes win

“Arabian Gold was a solid winner today bringing her good Sydney form down to Melbourne, she dodged Guelph who won the 1000 Guineas impressively and the stable were rewarded.

“Whilst there has to be a question mark over her at the 2500m, she does have class as her form shows.”

“Solicit was arguably just as good and looks a real stayer in the making”

“It could pay to forgive the run of Fantome Gris ($7 out to $15) as the race did seem to be dominated by those that settled in the 1st half of the race”

“May’s Dream holds favouritism ($4) after her great 2nd to Guelph in the Thousand Guineas, and it seems at this stage, anything with form around her that looks like running the Oaks trip will be the ones to beat come Oaks Day” said Betstar’s Alan Eskander.
