The Blue Army white-wash started in race two at Rosehill when Godolphin’s brilliant filly ARCADED (Street Boss – Gloriette) who pulled away to win the Gr 3 Magic Night Stakes over 1200m.
It was the third time in the past three years that Godolphin has won this race.
Arcaded firmed from $26 into $17 for the 2021 Golden Slipper following her game win when sitting 2nd all the way before being too fit down the running.
James McDonald rode her but he will be committed to a Chris Waller juvenile in the big race.
Arcaded recorded her 3rd win from four starts today when she beat JAMAEA (Headwater – Isibaeva) and the early leader ROBODIRA (Husson – Don’t Blink).
