Atlantic Jewel has drifted from $1.45 out to $1.60 at Sportingbet Australia as punters look at their options for tomorrow’s Group 1 Underwood Stakes at Caulfield.
$200 UNDERWOOD STAKES FREE BET
The Mark Kavanagh trained Atlantic Jewel attracted bets of $250,000 and $200,000 at Sportingbet before she won last week’s Stocks Stakes, but the biggest she has attracted at Sportingbetso far for the Underwood is just $3,000 at $1.50.
“A lot of punters are backing both It’s A Dundeel and Puissance Du Lune to beat her,” Sportingbet Australia spokesman Andrew Brown said.
“We’ve taken multiple $1,000 bets for It’s A Dundeel and there’s been plenty of each-way money around for Puissance De Lune,” Brown said.
It’s A Dundeel has firmed from $11 into $9.50 at Sportingbet and is a clear third favourite behind Atlantic Jewel and Puissance De Lune at $7.50.
Sportingbet is offering odds of $2.32 for the field to beat Atlantic Jewel.
