Victoria Derby winner Prized Icon has arrived in Melbourne to run in the Australian Guineas at Flemington.
The James Cummings-trained colt was also an acceptor for Saturday’s Randwick Guineas which will be run on a heavy track over 1600m, the same distance as the Flemington race.
Cummings said on Twitter that Prized Icon had travelled well and he expected a strong showing on Saturday.
Before the decision was made Prized Icon was an $11 chance for the Australian Guineas and a $7.00 chance in the Randwick Guineas with Sportsbet.com.au.
