Last year’s beaten Caulfield Cup favourite December Draw was a noted market mover after his game third at Caulfield last Saturday.

Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au tightened his Caulfield Cup price from $26 to $15, after his effort behind Ocean Park in the Underwood Stakes.

“There was a lot to like about December Draw’s run. He toughed it out up the straight and is no doubt going to take improvement from the run,’’ sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.

“Michael Rodd said the horse felt like he is back to his best. If that’s the case he looks pretty good value for punters at the moment.’’

Green Moon heads Caulfield Cup betting at $13, with December Draw and Southern Speed sharing the second line at $15.

Ocean Park was also a strong market mover following Saturday’s win and has been promoted to $6.50, second favourite for the Cox Plate.

The Kiwi horse splits the Gai Waterhouse pair of Pierro ($4.80) and More Joyous ($7.00).

Manighar was disappointing and after being $5.50 prior to the Underwood Stakes is now out to $8.00 for the Cox Plate.
