Unbeaten filly Smart Melody is among a field of 16 for the Group One Thousand Guineas at Caulfield.
The Kris Lees-trained Smart Melody will be joined in Saturday’s 1600m-race for fillies by stablemate El Dorado Dreaming with the barrier draw to be held on Tuesday morning.
Saturday’s Edward Manifold Stakes winner Amphitrite is one of three runners for Victoria’s premier trainer Darren Weir who also has Anjana and Krone.
