Horse owner Lester O’Grady charged with neglect

Racing Victoria Stewards on issued twenty charges against registered owner Lester O’Grady, under Australian Rules of Racing for neglect of his horses.

RV Stewards allege that up to and including 18 March 2019, Mr O’Grady failed to provide his horses, Catalan Miss, Diamond Tathagata, Secord, Alphabetic, Divine Destiny, Laker’s Lass, Leoncita, Matrimony, Mega Mall, and Shakuhachi, with proper and sufficient nutrition.

In the alternative, the Stewards allege that Mr O’Grady failed to provide those horses with veterinary treatment where such veterinary treatment was necessary.

The charges issued against Mr O’Grady will be heard before the Victorian Racing Tribunal on a date to be fixed.
