Everest contenders headline nominations at Randwick

Randwick will host the last day of the Sydney Autumn Carnival with the running of two G1s and some excellent support races.

The G1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) is going to be a brilliant race now upped to $1.5million. Everest winner Giga Kick ($3) looks for some retribution this preparation but faces stiff opposition.

Jacquinot ($6) tries to win against the older horse once more. Cascadian ($8) freshens up from his Australian Cup with good prospects given he loves the track.

There is also those Everest contenders like Mazu ($6), Private Eye ($11) and Lost And Running ($15) plus the resuming Zaaki ($6) to top them off.

In the G1 Champagne Stakes (1600m) for the babies, Militarize ($2.80) tries to complete the Sires/Champagne double and will face those he defeated including Don Corleone ($3.50) and the maiden Pier Pressure ($8).

Then you’ve got those coming from different form lead ups such as the Godolphin winners Amur ($11) and Tom Kitten ($8).

We see a G3 Hall Mark Stakes (1200m) with horses nominated that could end up in a Brisbane campaign such as Vilana ($4.50), Waihaha Falls ($11) and Bacchanalia ($8).

Other highlights include the G3 JRA Plate (2000m) for the staying types. Sunshine Rising ($6), Huetor ($8) and Quality Time ($11) will be prominent.

The James HB Carr Stakes (1400m) for the fillies will combine some highly promising youngsters like Magic Time ($2.80), Olentia ($15), Opal Ridge ($4.50) and Sumatra ($21).

Nominations were extended for the G3 Frank Packer Plate (2000m) where Osipenko ($2.30) and Pericles ($2.30) are the biggest names.
