“It appears punters are looking for value and Essay raider is now the best backed runner. Platelet ($8.00) was the one they wanted early, but support has dried up,’’ Sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson said.
Last start Robert Sangster winner, Driefontein ($7.50) has plenty of admirers and Unpretentious ($10) is also in the mix. Office Bearer ($26) is the best backed roughie of the field.
