Manikato Stakes Night takes place on Friday the 25th of October in 2013, with this great night of racing kicking off a full weekend of thoroughbred action that also includes Cox Plate Day the following day. With a total of eight races hosted under lights, this is a great opportunity for race lovers to enjoy the wonders of Moonee Valley after the sun goes down.

While the Group 1 Manikato Stakes is the undeniable highlight of the nights’ racing, there are lots of supporting events to keep everyone happy. Along with the Group 1 Manikato Stakes, there is also one Group 2 race and one Listed event to round out the night’s entertainment. Gates open at 4.30pm, with the first race run at 6.15 and the Manikato Stakes run at 10.00.
