Mark Newnham’s filly Bargain has replaced Duais as favourite with TAB for Saturday’s Queensland Oaks after drawing barrier four and being set at $4.50.

After running third in the Australian Oaks to Hungry Heart and Duais and then runner-up to Only Words in The Roses at Doomben, Bargain has tightened from an opening Pre Noms price of $8.

Duais, who will jump from barrier 12, is one of three starters on the second line of betting at $6 with Chris Waller’s Charms Star who drew barrier six and Grace And Harmony who scored barrier three.

Waller has six starters for the Group One, including Only Words who is rated an $9 chance.
