Rebel Dane has put in a solid performance to win a 1000m-barrier trial at Rosehill ahead of his upcoming trip to Hong Kong.
The Gary Portelli-trained dual Group One-winning sprinter will be Australia’s lone representative at the International meeting at Sha Tin on December 11.
Ben Melham made the trip from Melbourne to partner Rebel Dane who cruised past stakes performer That’s A Good Idea in Tuesday’s trial which was run on the course proper.
