Robert Sangster Stakes – Winner

Bella Nipotina is one of the country’s best sprinters and she will take a power of beating in the Sangster.

She’s always been an above-average galloper, but Bella Nipotina when to another level during his spring prep last year and realised her Group 1 potential with a dominant win in the Manikato Stakes.

While she’s yet to strike in four starts back this time, but she is three-times placed in featured company, and she takes her place in the Robert Sangster Stakes field following a stunning effort for third in The Quokka.

She’s drawn a peach under Ben Melham and can record another Group 1 victory.

Suggested Bet: No. 1 Bella Nipotina

Robert Sangster Stakes – 2nd

She looks to have gone to another level this time and I personally wouldn’t be surprised to see Zapateo in the Robert Sangster winner’s stall; I just think she might find Bella just a little too classy.

The Brazen Beau mare dusted off the cobwebs in the Oakleigh Plate first-up from a spell and has since been faultless, recording dominant wins in the Birthday Card Stakes and the Sapphire Stakes.

Even though this is a rise in class, she is at peak fitness and it really does look the ideal Group 1 target for her.

Suggested Bet: No. 4 Zapateo

Robert Sangster Stakes – 3rd

Passive Aggressive failed on the heavy going in the TJ Smith Stakes last time out, but she is obviously an enormously classy mare, and she should get something of a firmer deck this week in Adelaide.

Passive Aggressive stamped herself as a mare to follow by winning each of her first four career starts las year, and returned to the paddock after suffering her first defeat in Group 3 company.

She returned this year with what was undoubtedly a career-best performance and win in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes, and she has been freshened since her Championships flop.

A repeat of her fresh effort and she’ll be extremely difficult to toss.

Suggested Bet: No. 6 Passive Aggressive

Robert Sangster Stakes – 4th

Multiple Group 1 winner Roch ‘n’ Horse does have the means to come out and brain any field, so the $20 about her in Robert Sangster Stakes betting at publish could prove enormous overs.

The reason we’re getting that price is because it is always an enormous ‘IF’.

She’s yet to strike in four starts back this year, but she did run third in Group 1 company two starts back, and a return to her best would certainly be good enough!

Suggested Bet: No. 2 Roch ‘N’ Horse
