Newmarket Handicap winner Shamexpress is $14 into $10 at Sportingbet to continue Australia’s great recent record in the King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot next Tuesday.
Shamexpress is a third favourite behind Shea Shea at $3.20 and Reckless Abandon at $8.00.
“Punters haven’t missed the fact Shamexpress beat Stradbroke winner Linton in a jumpout before heading to England,” Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said.
“Shea Shea has been the best backed with us though and is $3.80 into $3.20 after a couple of significant four figure bets,” Sullivan said.
In the Queen Anne Stakes, Animal Kingdom has been heavily supported from $4 into $1.70 clear-cut favouritism with Sportingbet.
“Animal Kingdom is our worst result by a long way,” Sullivan said.
In the Diamond Jubilee, the John O’Shea trained Sea Siren has firmed from $17 into $13 with Sportingbet. Society Rock is a $4.40 favourite.
