Spring Champion Stakes Day takes place on Saturday 12 October, hosted as a special Ladies Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse. This event is a brand new feature for the Sydney Spring Carnival, with the Spring Champion Stakes previously held on Epsom Handicap Day a week earlier. While the $400,000 Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes is the highlight of the days racing, there is just as much action taking place off the field as well.
Gates open at 11.00am, with the first race taking place at 1.07pm and the last race at 5.20pm. General admission is $20 on the day, with concession admission just $10. Raceday dining options include the Centennial Room, Deluxe Picnic Hampers, Bar Platters, and Centennial Terraces. All in all, this fantastic new racing day has something to please everyone, from the Group 1 prestige of the Spring Champion Stakes through to the fashion and dining that complement any quality thoroughbred event.
Non-Racing Highlights include:
– Myer Fashions on the Field
– Clinique Lounge – complimentary make-up touch ups
