Victoria Derby favourite Thinkin’ Big has continued preparations for the $2 million Classic with a course proper gallop at Flemington.
Thinkin’ Big galloped alongside stablemate Shumookh in a hit-out on Tuesday morning with co-trainer Gai Waterhouse watching from the grandstand.
The colt heads into Saturday’s Derby after a dominant win in the Caulfield Classic last start and Waterhouse says the colt is spot-on for the 2500m race.
Trainer Gai Waterhouse has also confirmed the horse will back-up in Tuesday’s Melbourne Cup if he wins the Derby and pulls up well.
