Fourteen fillies are set to chase a valuable Group 1 win when they line up in the 2020 $1m Thousand Guineas over 1600m at Caulfield on Saturday.
The Chris Waller trained Hungry Heart went close to claiming a Group 1 trophy last Saturday when a close second to Montefilla in the Flight Stakes over 1600m at Randwick and gets her chance to go one better this week.
The Tulloch Lodge trained Vangelic finished third in the Flight Stakes while Thermosphere and Instant Celebrity are both last start Group 2 winners.

Hungry Heart
Hungry Heart has been knocking on the door with three seconds from her last three starts and gets her chance here to break through for her Maiden Group 1 win.
The Chris Waller trained Hungry Heart was runner up twice to Dame Giselle in the Group 2 Furious Stakes (1200m) and in the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes (1400m) before going down to Montefilla in the Group 1 Flight Stakes over 1600m at Randwick last Saturday.
Hungry Heart is one of the top chances with the blinkers going on for the first time.
Thermosphere
Thermosphere put herself into Thousand Guineas calculations with a win in the Group 2 Edward Manifold Stakes over 1600m at Flemington.
The James Cummings trained Thermosphere is warming up to a Group 1 win in the Thousand Guineas.
Instant Celebrity
Instant Celebrity is undefeated from four race starts and threw herself into Thousand Guineas contention with a win in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude over 1400m at Caulfield a fortnight ago.
Craig Williams sticks with the Phillip Stokes trained filly and she is one of the main chances again.
Personal
Personal showed plenty of improvement second up when runner up to Instant Celebrity in the Thousand Guineas Prelude and further improvement will see her figure in the finish again.

Vangelic
Vangelic has been racing consistently with two thirds at her last two starts at Randwick in the Group 2 Tea Rose Stakes (1400m) and in the Group 1 Flight Stakes (1600m) last Saturday.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Vangelic gets another chance at Group 1 glory but still has to make up two lengths on her last start.
Ecumenical
Ecumenical wasn’t disgraced at $151 when sixth in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) but will find this tougher and will be at long odds again.
Aidensfield
Aisdenfield has been racing okay in weaker company but will find this a lot tougher than her last start second in the Listed Jim Moloney Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield three weeks ago.
Night Raid
Night Raid went into the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) chasing a a hat but faded after setting the pace to finish fourth. Facing similar opposition here.
Odeum
Odeum is jumping up sharply in grade following her last start win in the Listed Jim Moloney Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield three weeks ago.
Rock My Wand
Rock My Wand has only one win from ten starts and is eligible for something easier but did run the race of her life last start when third in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield a fortnight ago.
Mozzie Monster
Mozzie Monster was well fancied in the betting last start when eighth in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield and has to improve in huge leads and bounds to be competitive here.
Agreeable
Agreeable has the blinkers on following her last start sixth in the Listed Jim Moloney Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield three weeks ago but still has may lengths to make up.
Love Sensation
Love Sensation will start as one of the outsiders in the Thousand Guineas coming off a last start fifth in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield two weeks ago.
Yosemite
Yosemite is another who will start at long odds after finishing seventh in the Group 2 Thousand Guineas Prelude (1400m) at Caulfield.
