Victorian visitor Tralee Rose has opened up a short-priced favourite to capture Monday’s Adelaide Cup (3200 metres) at Morphettville.
Following the release of barrier draw a little earlier today, Tralee Rose has come up with gate five with TAB posting her a dominant $1.80 favourite.
In fact, Mosh Music at $9 is the only other runner in single figures with the next best being Starcaster which has firmed from $13-$11 since the barrier draw was conducted.
The daughter of Tavistock has been in great form in two runs this year, winning the Bagot at Flemington by seven lengths in brilliant fashion before backing that up with a Group 3 win at Morphettville on February 20.
Tralee Rose is also equal second elect to win the Melbourne Cup on November 2. TAB has her currently quoted at $18 alongside Prince Of Arran and defending champion, Twilight Payment. Tiger Moth retains favouritism at $15.
