Race 1 – 2:20pm – The Agency Real Estate Handicap (1000m)
Just one of the nine horses remaining in the first has previous experience and therefore plenty of debutants are prominent in betting.
I am happy to stay out of this one, with a view towards something later in the season.
Race 2 – 2:55pm – Vinery Plate (1300m)
Pizarro has only just missed at his two appearances at the races so far, and he can break his maiden at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The All Too Hard gelding showed ability at the trials prior to making his debut, and he has so-far finished second in races at Hawkesbury and Canterbury respectively.
Fitter third-up and under James McDonald, this looks his chance.
Race 3 – 3:30pm – Bowermans Handicap (2400m)
This looks to be an appropriate drop in class for Comme Bella Fille, and she can record another win.
The Complacent mare charged in to score a deserved victory over 1900m at Canterbury two starts back, and she was far from disgraced when third in Saturday metro company last time.
She strikes this race in peak order, she should receive a lovely run in the small field, and she will prove tough to beat again.
Race 4 – 4:05pm – Keeneland Handicap (1100m)
Rule Of Law couldn’t have been much more impressive when scoring in a similar contest here when resuming, and he can make it two in a row at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The Snitzel gelding was a consistent performer during his summer prep last year, and he found form around some talented gallopers.
He beat home to fit opponents earlier this month and he is subsequently my best bet on this program.
Race 5 – 4:40pm – XXXX Handicap (1600m)
I’m happy to stick with Miss Einstein when she gets out to a mile at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The Dundeel mare ran home well to place at each of her first two starts back this time, but was a little flat in BM78 company at Canterbury last time.
She looks to be in peak order for Wednesday’s contest, and she’ll relish getting back to a track rated in the Good range.
Race 6 – 5:15pm – Ranvet Handicap (1100m)
Authentic Jewel looks to have found top gear, and she can record another win at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The I Am Invincible filly has had three starts since resuming in October, winning twice, including a race not dissimilar to this one last time out.
She is drawn a peach in barrier 5 under Jay Ford and needs only even luck to be right in the finish again.
Race 7 – 5:50pm – Benchmark 72 Handicap (1300m)
Rubamos can win the last at Warwick Farm this week.
The I Am Invincible gelding has had three starts since resuming in October, winning at Canterbury and only just missing in a photo finish at Randwick-Kensington last time.
The booking of James McDonald obviously doesn’t hinder his chances, and he is drawn to receive the run of the race.
