There were high hopes that this would be a meaningful contest on Monday Night Football alas, two disappointing teams have relegated this to “background noise” status.
Neither team has lived up to expectations in 2022 and with a combined nine wins between them, we’re just hoping for something competitive.
With Baker Mayfield at the helm, the Rams do become a bit more watchable and there is some value to be found if you think they can build on that dramatic win over the Raiders last week.
However the conservative option is to take the overs, with Mayfield likely to be a bit more comfortable after a full week of preparation, and that could be a good or bad thing for the Rams.
Best case scenario he is more confident in his play and makes some big throws to the end zone, worst case, he throws it to Packers defenders who will set up Aaron Rodgers on a short field.
Either way, it seems like we’ll be in for some points.
