This is going to be a very different LA Chargers team to the one that finished last season 5-12 as their air raid offence was depleted by injuries.
During that nightmare finish, they were absolutely destroyed by a thoroughly average Raiders team 63-21 and for those holdover players, revenge has to be on the mind.
If new coach Jim Harbaugh is not reminding them of that capitulation every day then he is passing up the easiest of motivational tactics.
Not to mention, this Raiders team looks like it has taken a step backwards and the Chargers are well placed to start the season with a win.
