One TAB customer has collected $100,200 after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers thrashed the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 in Super Bowl LV at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
On September 2, the TAB punter in question placed an $8,350 wager at $12 on the Buccaneers to win Super Bowl LV one week before the 2020 season commenced.
The Buccaneers were $51 to win this season’s NFL championship minutes after the Chiefs were victorious in Super Bowl LIV but following the signing of Tom Brady from the New England Patriots, the Buccaneers immediately firmed and started this season as $11 chances.
Before kick-off in Super Bowl LV, the Buccaneers were $2.40 outsiders at TAB (the Chiefs were $1.60) but they gained favouritism in the second quarter when they were ahead 7-3.
The Buccaneers are $9 to win Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles next season with the Chiefs $6.50 favourites to bounce back from today’s defeat.
