Yet another major divisional match-up as the hyper-competitive NFC West takes centre stage. The 5-1 Seattle Seahawks hold top spot, while San Francisco 49ers are last in the division despite building a 4-3 record.

The Seahawks are coming off their first loss of the season – a 37-34 OT shootout against the Cardinals. MVP favourite Russell Wilson and the Seattle offence couldn’t get them out of a late jam this time, with the Seahawks’ defence again exposed.

The 49ers have emerged from a rocky start to post consecutive wins over the Rams (24-16) and Patriots (33-6). Last season’s Super Bowl runners-up – and more specifically, the oft-maligned Jimmy Garoppolo – found their offensive groove to crush the Pats.

Seattle have won 11 of their last 13 against San Francisco. But the 49ers have won two of the last three. The Seahawks won 27-24 in overtime at Levi’s Stadium but the 49ers prevailed 26-21 in Seattle.

The Niners look a better bet against the 2.5-point line, but the under may be the value option with San Francisco leaking so few points of late.
