It’s been a tough road for the 49ers, who have been ravaged by injury and have had to relocate to Arizona. Jimmy Garoppolo’s absence stretches to a fifth straight game this week.
With an identical 5-7 record, Washington have come from nowhere to rocket into contention for the NFC East title.
