TAB has gone up huge odds for Brett Morris to create a slice of history this season.
The Roosters flyer has begun season 2021 with a bang, bagging two hat-tricks in the opening fortnight of the competition.
Morris is now fourth on the all-time list of tryscorers with 171 but at his current rate, would set a new mark by the end of the regular season.
The legendary Ken Irvine has held the record for most tries at 212 since 1973.
TAB are offering odds of $501 for Morris to break Irvine’s record, however, he would need to create another piece of history in order to do it.
The veteran winger would need to score a whopping 48 tries by the end of 2021 to surpass Irvine. The record for most tries in a single season belongs to the immortal Dave Brown who bagged 38 tries in 1938.
Morris is a $2 chance to score 26+ tries for the year which would take him to second on the all-time list and past Billy Slater.
