Honours were split between the clubs last season, the Raiders inflicted the Broncos first loss of 2023 in Round 6 via a 20-14 boilover in Brisbane, while the Broncos turned the tables 29-18 in Canberra in Round 26.
This has been a high-scoring fixture in recent years with seven of the past eight producing 42-plus points.
The Broncos, $1.36 favourites, have won their last five at Suncorp by double-digit margins.
But the Raiders are arguably the most accomplished visitors to the venue so far in 2024 and their gritty defensive approach and enterprise with the ball in hand can ensure a close contest against the depleted hosts.
