Preview:
Huge match on Sunday as the Raiders and Roosters do battle in the nation’s capital. Both teams are in ripping form ahead of this game and the market is struggling to split the two premiership contenders, with the Roosters slight favourites.
Nick Cotric is back from suspension for the Raiders, while Joey Leilua is named in the reserves. Jared Waerea-Hargreaves returns from suspension in the only change for the Tricolours, dropping Lindsay Collins to the reserves.
The Raiders and Roosters both dazzled last round, producing thumping wins against the Warriors and Titans respectively.
They last met in Magic Round where the Roosters won 30-24, but they did lead 30-6 midway through the second half.
In 20 visits to GIO Stadium, the Roosters have won just six times. Last season, the Raiders snuck home 14-12, with Canberra winning their past five against the Chooks in the nation’s capital. This is a big test for Canberra and The Wolf thinks they might just get up against the Chooks in front of a packed GIO Stadium.
Tip: Sydney Roosters at $1.85
Value Tip: First Try Scorer: Brett Morris at $9.00
