Canberra forward Hudson Young has copped a five week ban after entering an early plea for eye gouging Canterbury’s Aiden Tolman.
The Raiders rookie faced up to seven weeks on the sidelines had he unsuccessfully fought a grade-three dangerous contact – head/neck charge following their 12-10 NRL win over the Bulldogs.
Meanwhile, Manly’s Corey Waddell will miss two games for a grade one striking charge while Penrith’s Tyrell Fuimaono (grade one careless high tackle) has escaped suspension after both entered early pleas.
