NSW captain Boyd Cordner admits being stressed over his fight to beat a calf injury in time for Wednesday’s State of Origin decider.

The deadline on Cordner’s status has extended to after Tuesday’s captain’s run after the Blues second-rower said he pulled up well following Sunday’s opposed session.

“It’s been stressful mentally, but in regards to recovery and rehab and having everything there for me, it’s been unreal,” Cordner said on Monday.
