Veteran hooker Issac Luke has taken to social media to confirm his NRL move to St George Illawarra.
“St George Dragons. On way,” Luke wrote on Twitter.
The 32-year-old veteran, who has played 271 NRL matches with South Sydney (2007-15) and the Warriors (2016-19), is expected to provide dummy-half back up for Cameron McInnes as the Dragons attempt to rebound from a horror 2019 season.
Luke was not offered a new deal by the Warriors but his experience should prove handy for the Saints and it will likely end suggestions that halfback Ben Hunt should be an option at hooker.
