Gold Coast Titans have re-signed halfback Albert Kelly for two more NRL seasons.
Kelly, 22, arrived on the Gold Coast on a short-term deal last November but has shone, helping the Titans remain on track for a NRL finals berth.
“The Titans showed great faith in me to give me a chance and I’m grateful for that opportunity,” Kelly said.
Titans coach John Cartwright said Kelly had impressed both on and off the field since his arrival.
“I think the important thing for Albert is he’s got a group of players and staff that care about him and want to see him do well,” he said.
Kelly’s signature follows recent contract extensions for fellow young stars William Zillman, Aidan Sezer and Matt Srama.
