Melbourne Storm vs Wests Tigers Preview
The Melbourne Storm will be looking to break their three-match losing streak at AAMI Park when they host the winless Wests Tigers. A fourth defeat would mark the longest losing streak in club history at the venue.
Last week, the Storm allowed six tries to Gold Coast during a 38-34 loss, which is their equal-highest score conceded since 2014. However, there is good news as Cameron Munster looks set to return from a finger injury. Unfortunately, halves partner Jahrome Hughes will be sidelined after receiving a two-match ban for dangerous contact. That would open the door for Jonah Pezet to get a reprieve after dropping to the reserves.
On the other hand, the Tigers are off to a poor start, being 0-3 for the second straight year, and their preseason optimism is fading. The team has made changes to their backline, with Adam Doueihi moving to fullback, Brandon Wakeham to five-eighth, Charlie Staines to the wing, and David Nofoaluma to the reserves. In addition, Isaiah Papali’i is back from suspension in the forward pack.
