Nathan Cleary is favourite to be Player Of The Match in Origin One with TAB but there has been a significant plunge on Blues backrower Cameron Murray to upstage the playmakers from both teams in Townsville.
Murray has tightened from $29 into $17 to be named best on field in the series opener and is holding close to 60 percent of the money in the market, including a $5,500 bet at $21.
From the top eight most popular players in the market, seven are from New South Wales with David Fifita ($26) the only Queenslander.
Cleary is priced at $5.50 ahead of Blues team-mate James Tedesco ($6.50) and Maroons maestro Cameron Munster ($7.50). Queensland dummy-half Harry Grant ($11) is now shorter than NSW rival Damien Cook ($13), while there has been interest in rookie winger Brian To’o being named Player Of The Match on debut at $41.
To’o is equal favourite with Josh Addo-Carr at $9 to be the First Try Scorer ahead of Queensland trio Valentine Holmes, Kyle Feldt and Xavier Coates at $10 but Tom Trbojevic has been the most popular with punters so far at $12.
Queensland remain $2.50 outsiders and the Blues $1.53 in Head-to-Head betting, with a Pick Your Own Line bet of $50,000 taken on New South Wales at $1.17 with an 8.5-point start.
