The late season resurgence of South Sydney has continued this evening at Bankwest Stadium and the Rabbitohs have firmed from $7 to $5.75 at TAB to win the 2020 NRL premiership.
Souths had to overcome an 18-8 half-time deficit against Parramatta before scoring 24 unanswered points in an eventual 38-24 victory over the Eels in their semi-final.
The Rabbitohs were heavily backed from an opening price of $1.53 last Sunday night to $1.26 before kick-off, but they were $2.45 at half-time when they trailed by 10 points.
Two TAB punters were confident that Souths would account for Parramatta with respective bets of $21,000 and $20,000 at $1.45 placed during the week.
Another TAB customer was thrilled with the Rabbitohs’ performance as they plonked $100,000 at $1.10 pre-game on Souths to win or lose by less than seven points.
