NRL Round 12 Odds and Betting Preview – 2021

They may have pulled off the upset of the season against the Roosters but the Broncos will have to defy the drift with TAB and a horror record at home against the Storm if they’re going to back up last week’s heroics.

Melbourne have had the wood on Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium, winning the past 10 in a row there. They’re $1.08 to extend that run tonight with the Broncos moving from $6.50 out to $7.50.

One TAB punter is hoping for a huge game from Storm big man Nelson Asofa-Solomona, placing a $9,000 bet on the giant Prop scoring one or more tries from off the bench at $4. He has scored three tries in the past fortnight, including a double against the Raiders last week.

Think. Is this a bet you really want to place?

In other NRL news from TAB:

  • There are still some customers backing the Bulldogs to upset the unbeaten Panthers, despite Canterbury having the equal second longest Head-to-Head odds in TAB history, and the longest this century. One punter has had $500 on the underdogs at $21. Another has had $2 on them finishing in the top eight at $1,001.
  • Penrith are favourites at $1.70 to be the highest scoring side of Round 12, the Bulldogs are favourites to be the lowest scorers at $1.80.
  • The Roosters have hardly budged in the Head-to-Head market with the Raiders despite Victor Radley and Angus Crichton copping suspensions. They’re $1.27 favourites, out slightly from $1.25 with Canberra $3.80 into $3.70. The match is favourite to be the lowest scoring game of the round at $5.25
  • Nathan Clearly has firmed further in the Top Point Scorer market, tightening from $2.60 into a $1.40 ahead of Adam Reynolds and Manly’s Rueben Garrick at $5.
