The Dragons have been one of the season’s big movers with TAB after their upset win over Parramatta took them to equal second and within two competition points of undefeated ladder leaders Penrith.
St George Illawarra’s fourth straight victory has seen them tighten from $81 and the longest premiership odds in the competition after their round one loss to Cronulla, into $34. They’re also now $2.30 to make the top eight and $7.50 to remain in the top four at the end of the regular season.
In contrast Parramatta’s first defeat of the season has seen them slip below the Dragons to fifth on for and against and drift to $11 to win the premiership. They’re now sixth on the Futures betting line.
The Panthers have firmed even further as title favourites, moving from $4.00 to $3.50 following their victory over Canberra. They’re $1.03 to beat the Brisbane on Thursday night with the Broncos at $11. Brisbane is $251 to win the premiership, the equal longest odds along with the Bulldogs.
